The essentials
What is Muxow?
Muxow is a workspace for hotel operations. It brings your team’s requests, tasks, shift information, guest follow-up, and operational records together. Hotels use it to coordinate daily work; hotel groups use the corporate workspace to oversee their properties.
Does Muxow replace our property management system?
No. Muxow focuses on operational work across your teams. Your property management system remains the place for reservations and your existing PMS workflows. You can use Muxow alongside it without treating the two products as the same system.
Does using Muxow alongside our PMS mean they are integrated?
Not automatically. Working alongside your PMS does not imply a direct connection or automatic data synchronization. If a specific integration is important to your hotel, tell us which system you use so we can confirm the available options before you commit.
Who is Muxow designed for?
Independent hotels, hotel groups, and management companies. Within a hotel, departments such as front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and management can work from the same operational information, with access based on their responsibilities.
Can our team use Muxow away from the desk?
Yes. Muxow’s responsive web interface adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop computers so hotel teams can work around the property. The information and actions available to each user depend on their access. Native iOS and Android apps are launching soon.
Daily operations
What can we manage as an assignment?
Assignments cover guest requests, general tasks, work orders, and wake-up calls. Staff can include a location, priority, due date, department, assignee, and relevant details, then follow the work through its status and completion.
How does Muxow help with shift handovers?
Shift Report gives teams a shared place for handover notes, while Assignments keeps open work and its status visible. The next shift can review the context and outstanding work instead of relying only on a verbal handover.
Can we track guest packages and lost items?
Yes. Packages records incoming deliveries and their pickup or delivery status. Lost & Found keeps separate records for found items, where they were found, and claim or return follow-up. These are distinct workspaces for two different front desk responsibilities.
What is Guest Recovery used for?
Guest Recovery helps your team record a guest concern and track the follow-up needed to address it. Staff with the appropriate permissions can review and update the case, keeping its context and progress available to the people responsible.
Does Muxow support guest messages and wake-up calls?
Yes. Messages supports guest conversations and reply follow-up. Wake-up calls are scheduled through the assignment workflow. Availability depends on your plan and communication setup, and SMS or voice usage may be billed separately from the subscription.
Can we organize recurring property care as well as urgent work?
Yes. Work orders handle reported issues, while Deep Cleans, PMs, Readings, and Checklist support routine property care. Your teams can keep planned work and the records of that work in their relevant modules, alongside day-to-day assignments.
How do supplies, purchasing, and budgets fit together?
Supplies & Inventory brings together items, restock requests, vendors, and orders. Budget provides a place to review operational spending and department budgets. Together, they help teams consider purchasing activity in the context of the supplies and budget they manage.
AI Assistant
What can the AI Assistant help with?
The AI Assistant can explain app workflows, search current app information, draft a guest reply, and prepare an assignment for review. You can start with a plain-language question or request rather than navigating straight to a form.
Can I review an AI-generated assignment before it is created?
Yes. The assistant prepares a draft for you to review. Check the room or location, requested items, department, priority, and other details before confirming creation. You remain responsible for checking that the request is correct.
Hotel groups
How does Muxow work for a hotel group or management company?
The corporate workspace gives authorized users a portfolio view across their hotels. Each property keeps its own operational context, while corporate staff can review portfolio activity and open the properties they are permitted to access.
What can corporate teams see across properties?
The Portfolio Dashboard highlights property activity and areas that need attention. Corporate metrics, reports, and hotel leaderboards support a closer look across the organization. What a user can see depends on their assigned properties and permissions.
Can corporate teams communicate with hotel teams?
Yes. The corporate Inbox supports communication with hotel teams. Messages can be directed to the appropriate property audience, helping corporate staff share updates while keeping follow-up tied to the relevant hotels and people.
Learning
What is Muxow Learning?
Muxow Learning is the learning area for courses, guides, and other published training content. Learners can browse the catalog, continue learning they have started, and revisit completed material. Available content depends on their account and what has been published for them.
Can employees use their Muxow account for Learning?
Yes. Employees can sign in to Muxow Learning with their existing Muxow credentials. Their learning access is based on the account’s context and available content. If sign-in fails or expected content is missing, contact your administrator or Muxow support.
Can learners track progress and take daily quizzes?
Yes. Muxow Learning includes ongoing and completed learning, a daily quiz, XP, and a monthly leaderboard. Progress helps learners pick up where they left off, while the quiz gives them another way to practice. XP and rankings follow the learning activity recorded for their account.
Does every course provide a certificate?
Not every learning item has to include one. Where a certificate is offered and issued after completion, learners can find it in Certificates. The certificate’s title, issuer, and design belong to that specific learning item; a completion certificate should not be assumed to be an external accreditation.
Access & security
Does everyone at the hotel get the same access?
No. Roles and permissions determine which information a person can view and which actions they can take. Access can reflect their responsibilities at the hotel. Corporate access is also limited to the properties and information that user is authorized to see.
How is access to hotel data controlled?
Muxow uses authentication, role-based permissions, and property-level access controls to restrict operational information to authorized users. Connections use HTTPS. You can review Muxow’s security and privacy pages for the published approach to protecting and handling information.
Getting started
What should we discuss before setting up Muxow?
Start with your properties, departments, users, and the work you want to coordinate. We can then discuss the account structure, access, and onboarding scope that fit your operation. For a hotel group, include how corporate staff should be connected to individual properties.
How is pricing determined, and is every feature included?
Plan coverage depends on the size and needs of your operation. The Pricing page explains the published plans; hotel groups can discuss an Enterprise proposal. Check the plan’s feature coverage and any separate communication usage charges before enrolling.
How can I see Muxow or get help with an existing account?
Book a demo to discuss your hotel or group and see the relevant workflows. If you already use Muxow, use the Help module or contact support@muxow.com for assistance. Support arrangements depend on your plan and agreed scope.
